With no end in sight to the record heat, the media are now finally connecting the dots between global warming and these rare events, reporting “This is what global warming looks like at the regional or personal level.” Remember that this is the new norm. Long gone is the time that we had to worry about the future effects of climate change. They’re already here. We’re living it.
