Also, a big thank you to everyone who shared their photos! Ajay’s “long wait” for a photo opportunity one morning in Velavadar Blackbuck National Park (located in Gujarat, India) was rewarded when a striped hyena came strolling down the road. Hyenas are nocturnal, and photographing one in such strong daylight is rare. “This was one of the best days in my wildlife photography.” (via 2012 People’s Choice Award Winner - National Wildlife Federation)
