Late September in the Rockies means aspens in all their fall glory. Stu Hagen found these colorful trees just outside the southern boundary of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Aspens are one of the most widely distributed trees in North America, ranging from Alaska to Newfoundland and down the western mountains to Mexico. The California photographer used a Canon EOS 5D Mark II with a 16-35mm lens. (via Photo of the Week: Aspen Sky - National Wildlife Federation)
