It was a thirty-minute news broadcast laden with teenage-oriented advertising. So I’d see his reports from Bosnia or wherever every morning while I was waiting for class to start. When he left to pursue his career elsewhere, Channel One featured him in a special goodbye program. As a result, any time I see Anderson Cooper, it reminds me a little of high school.
