Photo 3 Feb 6 notes After many of freezing temperatures a waterfall has now frozen solid attracting climbers to tackle the 30 metre ascent up the freshly formed icicles and towers of ice. Known as Kinder Downfall the waterfall is the tallest in the Peak District. The River Kinder cascades over the top of the Kinder Scout plateau near the Pennine Way 2,087 ft above sea level mid-way between the villages of Hayfield and Edale in the High Peak of Derbyshire.
